Butterfly valve test and adjustment

1. Whether manual, pneumatic, hydraulic or electric components are strictly debugged before leaving the factory, the user should fix both sides of the inlet and outlet evenly, close the disc valve and apply pressure to the inlet side when rechecking the sealing performance. Observe the exit side for leaks. Before the pipeline strength test, the disc plate should be opened to prevent damage to the seal.

2. Although the products have undergone rigorous inspection and experiment before leaving the factory, there are also some products that have automatic screw displacement during transportation, and need to be readjusted, pneumatic, hydraulic, etc., please read the instruction manual of the supporting drive.

3. The electric drive disc valve has adjusted the opening and closing strokes of the control mechanism before leaving the factory. In order to prevent the wrong direction when the power is turned on, the user first turns on the manual to the half-open position after turning on the power for the first time, and then presses the electric switch to check that the direction of the indicator disk is consistent with the valve closing direction.

    Common faults and elimination methods

1. Before installation, confirm whether the performance of the product and the flow direction of the medium are consistent with the movement conditions, and clean the inner cavity of the valve. It is not allowed to have foreign matter attached to the sealing ring and the butterfly board. Never close the butterfly before cleaning. Plate, so as not to damage the sealing ring.

2. It is recommended to use the special flange for the disc valve to install the matching flange for the disc plate.

 3. The position installed in the pipeline, the best position is vertical installation, but not upside down.

4. The flow needs to be adjusted during use, and a worm gear box is used for control.

 5. For the disc valve with more opening and closing times, open the worm gear box cover in about two months, check whether the butter is normal, and maintain an appropriate amount of butter.

 6. Check the tightness of each connecting part, that is to ensure the tightness of the packing and the flexible rotation of the valve stem.

 7. The metal seal butterfly valve product is not suitable for installation at the end of the pipeline. If it must be installed at the end of the pipeline, it needs to be equipped with an outlet flange to prevent the backpressure and over-position of the seal ring.

 8. The installation and use of the valve stem regularly checks the valve's use effect, and finds the fault and eliminates it in time.
